Airbourne Odour/ Background Smells
Air fresheners and perfumed masking agents do not actually remove odours , just cover them up. Odours are gases. If you were in a room with a rotten egg smell ,ie hydrogen sulphide, which is toxic, would you spray a very strong perfumed air freshener in that room and think your safe.? No I hope not. Well Adsorbex is a safe natural way of eliminating odours and some gases or fumes from small confined spaces leaving no masking scent. Old dried in carpet smells
If you have an area of carpet that is still smelling even after using other perfumed or disinfectant products which is now dry, you can use Adsorbex on this problem as well. The carpet fibres hold on to odours rather like a wooly jumper holding onto a smokey odour from bonfires or cigarette smoke. You may need more than one application, as the first application will probably saturate the adsorbex with pefumes or chemical disinfectant smells previously used. This will fill up the micropores in the Adsorbex and thus stop it adsorbing and holding on to the original problem smell ie "old cat urine". The next application can then get on with the work of drawing out the original problem unhindered by other scented products.
Using Wastex with old stains and smells in conjunction with adsorbex can give better results, Wastex first then Adsorbex, but do not use Wastex with or straight after disinfectant or the beneficial bacteria in the Wastex will be rendered usless (inactive).
