Let the Adsorbex stand until it is completely dry. Depending on the size of the accident and the amount of Adsorbex used, this may take up to 24 hours. Then sweep up bulk of the Adsorbex then vacuum the rest. NB It is recommended that you always test an obscure piece of carpet to make sure that the colour will not fade. Disposal dispose of used powder in dustbin or on the garden and dig in later.

      Dog Kennels/Pens

For dogs that are kept outside, Sprinkle the floor with approximately 100grams per square metre of Adsorbex powder and sweep with a broom to absorb ammonia odours from urine. Also, sprinkle Adsorbex powder over puddles or solids as needed. Add new Adsorbex or replace Adsorbex weekly, or as needed.

 

    Rabbit Hutches/Cages

Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons of Adsorbex Cage Fresh under bedding or mix with bedding in cages to absorb odours and moisture. Replace when changing bedding material. This will help keep floors dry and reduce the ammonia and the attraction to flies. Giving your animals and happier healthier environment.

    Hamster & Mice Cages

Keep those small critters dry and happy! Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of Adsorbex Cage Fresh under the bedding material in the cage or pen. Replace with fresh Adsorbex when changing the bedding material.

• Bird Cages

Sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of Adsorbex Cage Fresh granules in the bottom of bird cage. This will control odour and absorb moisture from droppings. Replace Adsorbex as needed or when cleaning bird cage.

• Dog & Cat Bedding

Eliminate odours from pet bedding by sprinkling an ample amount of Adsorbex over the bedding, waiting 15 minutes to an hour and then vacuuming up.

Carpet & Upholstery

Works excellently to neutralize odours and absorb moisture from fresh spills on your carpet or upholstery. Immediately sprinkle an ample amount of Adsorbex over the spill. The Adsorbex will instantly start pulling the liquid from the spill and become saturated. Let the Adsorbex stand until it is completely dry. Depending on the size of spill and the amount of Adsorbex used, this may take up to 24 hours. Then vacuum up Adsorbex. For stubborn stains, re-wet and apply again. This technique also works well on old stains. To remove old stains wet the carpet or upholstery with a liquid carpet cleaner, upholstery cleaner or water and apply the Adsorbex, following the instructions above. Note: It is recommended that you always test an obscure piece of carpet or upholstery to make sure the colour will not fade. Dispose of in normal household waste.

 

• Mattresses

Remove bedding and launder as usual. Sprinkle an ample amount of Adsorbex over the urine-soaked area of the mattress. Let it set for approximately 12 hours and vacuum up. Amazing! The stain and odor are completely gone.

• Linen Baskets

To neutralize perspiration and other odours, reduce moisture and deter mildew, place an Adsorbex Mini Sachet in your laundry baskets. Replace every 3 months.

 

• Adult & Children’s Shoes

Smelly shoes can be a problem and its not always your feet. Place Adsorbex Shoe Sachets in your shoes immediately after use. The Adsorbex will begin absorbing perspiration odour or moisture upon contact and extend the life of your shoes. For more stubborn odours or a quick fix sprinkle some Adsorbex powder into the shoe and tip the shoe so that the powder gets well down into the toe area. Leave for 30 mins then go outside and tip the powder out and tap the shoe to remove any that remains. This works well on smelly trainers , boots  For best results, leave sachets in the shoes overnight. Replace every 3 months.
