How is WASTEX applied?
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE.
If using WASTEX mixed with water the solution must be used within 8 hours , otherwise it
becomes inactive without a food source such as organic waste or grease.
It is therefore vital to first ensure that any bottle used to keep neat WASTEX is absolutely
free from water on the inside.

* Organic waste on the carpet;
Clean up as much of the excess as possible.
Sprinkle or spray neat WASTEX on the affected area wetting it well.
Take a sponge with luke warm water and rub the area lightly ensuring the water mixes with
the WASTEX.
Leave for3-4 hours and then sprinkle on some ADSORBEX granules or powder or use
kitchen
paper and stamp on it to draw out surplus WASTEX and stains then leave to dry. Vacuum
clean.
For large areas of carpet or floor it will be easier to make up a solution of WASTEX with 5
parts of luke warm water and spray direct, avoiding the necessity to use a sponge.
Use ADSORBEX as above.

*Kennel Runs and Excercise areas.
Make up a solution of 1 part WASTEX to 20 parts luke warm water sufficient to cover the
area concerned. Sprinkle or spray and leave to dry.

*Cat spray or "territorial" gatepost
Sprinkle or spray the affected area with neat WASTEX and follow immediately with a light
spray of luke warm water, taking care not to wash away all the WASTEX before it has had
time
to act.
Alternatively for a large area or a number of areas use a 5:1 diluted solution as above.

* Doggy loos and small soakaways.
Tip in one eggcupful of WASTEX followed by a further 2-3 eggcupsful of luke warm water
and leave. Repeat weekly.

*Blocked Kitchen Sink / Grease Trap
Run the tap to obtain luke warm water and splash well into the overflow aperture.
Tip 2 eggcupsful of WASTEX down the plughole and spray neat WASTEX into the
overflow.
Leave overnight. Repeat with 1 eggcupful for plug hole weekly.

*Blocked Shower / Bath / Drain
It is likley that such blockages are caused by strands of hair which in turn trap skin oils /
particles of soap. WASTEX will quickly remove the organic gel (and odour) which form in
such cases. Given time it will also digest the strands of hair which are usually the root
cause.
Tip 2 eggcupsful of WASTEX down the plughole. Leave overnight.
Repeat with 1 eggcupful of WASTEX weekly to prevent blockages.
